ESSENTIAL INFORMATION ABOUT THE SCHOOL YEAR


The school year in Ireland takes about nine months, that is similar to Spanish, and lasts from late August or September to June. It is important to remember that usually start a few days earlier than in Spain, to plan summer vacations early. It is divided into 3 terms:
Fall → September-December

SCHOOL HOLIDAYS

There are two annual school holiday periods at Christmas and Easter, for about two weeks each. In the first and second quarters, there is also a week of half term holiday. VALIDATION OF THE SCHOOL YEAR
